Assessment

A Behavior Analyst (BCBA/LBA):

  • Observes and directly spends time assessing the client in order to gather information on his or her current areas of need

  • Reviews client medical records

  • Conducts parent/caregiver interviews

  • Completes rating scales/forms on behaviors of concern, client interests, and/or parent/caregivers priorities

  • Gathers all information to develop a treatment plan, which outlines recommendations and goals for ABA treatment

 

 

Direct Care

Behavior Technicians deliver one-on-one ABA services to target each goal outlined in the treatment plan

 

 

Supervision +

Progress

Monitoring

Behavior Analysts supervise Behavior Technicians on a weekly basis and regularly review data to monitor progress toward each goal

 

 

Parent +

Caregiver

Support

Behavior Analysts meet with parents and/or caregivers on a regular basis to provide guidance in using ABA principles to meet treatment goals
